Youtuber Dobhal smiles from hospital after shocking Instagram Live crash
YouTuber Anurag Dobhal, popularly known as UK07 Rider, has shared a first glimpse of himself recovering in the hospital after a shocking car crash during an Instagram Live session that sparked widespread concern.
In a video shared by social media influencer Yogesh Kathuria, Dobhal is seen smiling from his hospital bed, while friends encourage him, saying, “Brother, smile please, you have got another life.” The clip shows him emotional but gradually regaining composure after the traumatic incident.
The 25-year-old creator had previously released what he described as his “final YouTube video”, in which he alleged that his family had pressured him over his intercaste marriage with his wife, Ritika. His brother, Kalam Dobhal, later responded publicly, claiming the allegations were one-sided and accusing Anurag of seeking social media attention.
Two days after the video, Dobhal went live on Instagram again, visibly distressed, and while driving his Toyota Fortuner SUV on the Delhi–Meerut Expressway at reportedly 140–150 kmph, he told viewers, “I have no one left, whom to call? Let’s go for a final ride.” Moments later, he crashed the vehicle and was admitted to the ICU under medical observation.
The incident drew widespread attention, prompting support from celebrities like Aly Goni, Munawar Faruqui, and Prince Narula, who condemned online trolling and urged followers to show empathy. Faruqui emphasized the importance of supporting those facing mental health struggles instead of mocking them.
Anurag Dobhal’s family has not yet publicly responded to the crash, and the YouTuber remains under medical care, gradually recovering from the ordeal.
