Earthquake tremors felt in Swat and surrounding areas

Earthquake tremors were felt in Swat and surrounding areas, causing concern among residents on Saturday night.

According to the Seismic Monitoring Centre Islamabad, the earthquake measured 5.3 on the Richter scale. The depth of the quake was recorded at 216 kilometers.

Officials said the epicenter of the earthquake was located in the Hindu Kush mountain range.

No immediate reports of casualties or damage were received following the tremors, while authorities continued to monitor the situation.
