Woman dies due to torture by in-laws in Muridke

A 31-year-old woman Shaista Bibi breathed her last in the hospital after being brutally tortured by her in-laws in Muridke, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

As per the first information report (FIR), a woman and her four children were given poisonous tablets by her in-laws after which she died.

The FIR further stated that the husband of women sent her some money, after which she complained to her in-laws.

Later, the woman's in-laws brutally tortured her and forced her to drink poison.

The woman was shifted to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital (THQ) in Muridke in critically condition after which she was referred to Lahore.

Two children of the woman were in serious condition, and the other two are out of danger.

The names of children are Huzaifa 7, Hania 5, Abu Huraira 4, and Usman 2. Doctors said that signs of torture were visible on the woman’s body.

Later, the City Police of Muridke arrested all five accused.
