The mystery of the blind murder of a Jhelum rickshaw driver was solved Monday after his wife turned out to be the murderer, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to police, the rickshaw driver, who was murdered three months ago, had learnt about the affair of his wife Maimoona with a neighbour named Babar Shah.

In order to get rid of her husband, the accused planned to murder him with the help of her two accomplices and implemented the plan.

She also carried out a farce of crying and lamenting at the dead body of her husband. The police solved the murder mystery through scientific ways.

The accused confessed to the murder before police, and a motorcycle and the murder tool were also recovered from them.

It is to be noted here that the rickshaw driver had been shot dead by two suspects riding a motorbike on a railway bridge on February 8 last.
