Lahore put on high alert after drone attack

In view of the Indian drone attack, arising out of Indian aggression, Lahore has been put on a state of high alert on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The concerned officials have directed that the police, Civil Defence, Rescue 1122 and other departments will remain in close coordination with each other.    

In case India again resorts to aggression against Pakistan, these departments will act in coordination with each other in rescuing the injured and the provision of medical treatment to them.

India had carried out attacks on multiple sites inside Pakistan on the night between May 6 and May 7.

It mostly attacked mosques, labelling them as the headquarters of militant outfits, resulting in the martyrdom of 31 civilians.

On the night between May 7 and May 8, it again sent its drones to Pakistan; one of which was shot down at Lahore airport while the other one in a neighbouring village of Gujrat.
