Father arrested after shooting his two sons in Lahore

Lahore police on Friday arrested a man who allegedly opened fire and injured his two teenage sons in the Shad Bagh area, 24NewsHD TV reported on Friday.

According to police officials, the suspect was arrested within hours, along with the weapon used in the attack.

Police said the incident appeared to stem from a personal dispute.

Officials stated that the accused had divorced his wife around 12 years ago, after which she remarried, and the children were living with her.

The two injured brothers, identified as Ali Hassan and Ahmad Raza, both sustained bullet wounds in their legs and were shifted to a hospital for treatment.

Police confirmed that both victims were in stable condition.

The suspect, identified as Shehzad Liaqat, has been arrested on charges of attempted murder.
