PAA NOTAM warns of flights disruption at Islamabad airport
Pakistan Airport Authority (PAA) on Friday issued a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) alerting them about the possibility of suspension of flight operations from May 8 to 10 at New Islamabad International Airport (NIIA) due to operational reasons, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The notice has instructed aircraft captains to ensure additional fuel reserves, noting that flights already in the air during the restricted period may have to remain in holding patterns before landing at the Islamabad airport.
The flight operations will be suspended from the morning of May 8, 2026, from 10.45 am to 12.15 pm and from 8 pm to 9.15 pm on May 9 and 10, 2026.
Earlier, the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) issued a new Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) announcing a two-hour suspension of flight operations at Islamabad airport on March 17.
