Maryam asks GB people to cast votes and then guard them

Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Vice-President Maryam Nawaz on Sunday asked the people of Gilgit Baltistan to cast their ballots by stamping on the lion and then also guard their votes, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Addressing a huge public gathering in Chilas, Maryam Nawaz requested the Chilas people to cast their votes for PML-N, stamp on the lion (the election symbol of the party), development, progress, Pakistan’s progress and for the good days of the Gilgit Baltistan.

Urging the Gilgit Baltistan people for a final push against the Imran Khan government, Maryam said the days of ‘fake’ government of Imran Khan are numbered. “Cast your ballot against the government and send it packing,” she added.

“I have heard that families who are not getting proper claims against their lands came under the Diamir Bashir Dam, a PML-N government will provide you your due rights,” Maryam assured the affectees.

She promised that Gilgit Baltistan will be a province and people of Gilgit Baltistan will get their rights.

The PML-N Vice-President said on its way from Gilgit Airport to Chilas, former Chief Minister of GB Hafiz Hafeezur Rehman told her that Nawaz Sharif built the cancer hospital, Gilgit Airport, main roads, colleges and sports complex.

She concluded her speech with a slogan, ‘Vote ko izzat do’ and ‘Gilgit Baltistan ki awam ko Izzat do’

Former chief minister of Gilgit Baltistan Hafiz Hafeezur Rehman addressing the rally said: “Today’s rally is a tribute to the past five-year record era of development in PML-N government.”
