Non-taxpayers income being measured by Artificial Intelligence: Shaukat Tarin

Adviser to Prime Minister on Fiancé Shaukat Tarin said that Kamyab Pakistan and Kamyab Jawan program would yield grassroots revolution and urged people to file taxes to take the country forward, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Shaukat Tarin ciintg examples said that Pakistan was the fourth-largest economy in the 1960s—Japan, China, India, and Pakistan—now we did not stand at 25th.

“We have to revive past glory so we can get rid of international organizations and dependencies,” he told the audience at Kamyab Jawan Convention in Islamabad.

“We are using Artificial Intelligence (AI) to know approximately 86 percent income of non-taxpayers and it is the right of the state to collect the taxes,” he said.

Shaukat Tarin said that FBR would not interfere with traders but that does not mean traders would not be giving the taxes—income tax and Withholding Tax.

He urged the youth to try themselves in SMEs that related to agriculture and IT as SMEs are the backbone of any country’s economy.

Tarin explained SMEs lead to big industries and the youth of Pakistan needed to come more and more towards SMEs.

“Some people claim that the state collects tax but did not get any benefits in return. This claim is completely wrong. You use roads. There is an Army to defend you and you get law and order. We want to provide you maximum benefits, so taxpayers must cooperate with us.”| he added.

“All must put efforts to lead the country forward and it is a two-way process,” he added.

“Usman Dar has dynamic leadership as he knocks every door for youth. Usman Dar proposed to launch Kamyab Kissan after Kamyab Jawan offering interest-free loans but we then launched Kamyab Pakistan project that is providing loans in four categories,” Shaukat Tarin said.

“Our big banks have no training to offer small loans to people,” he added.

“Akhuwat and micro-financing have been providing interest-free loans for last 30 years,” he added.

Shaukat Tarin said, “This is not the political Sloganeering. Many claimed sustainable development but was not achieved. Prime Minister Imran Khan provided the vision to build a welfare state on the pattern of state of Madinah.”
