334 illegal Afghan nationals arrested in Hyderabad division

The statistics regarding the illegal residents of Afghan nationals in Hyderabad Division from June 2022 to June 2023 have come to light, revealing that a total of 334 individuals were apprehended, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.  

During this one-year period, 330 individuals were arrested from Jamshoro, three from Thatta, and one from Sehwan Sharif, all of whom were Afghan nationals, according to data.

Out of the 334 detainees, have been detained while the remaining 331 Afghan nationals were deported to their home country.

The arrest led to the filing of 9 FIRs in Jamshoro, three in Thatta, and one in Sehwan Sharif.

As per the initial survey findings, there are approximately 15,000 illegal Afghan residents in Hyderabad District alone, according to security sources.

Efforts to act against illegally residing Afghan nationals in Hyderabad and neighboring districts are expected to commence shortly, as per security sources.
