Balochistan health officials nabbed over Rs400m corruption

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has nabbed three officials of the Balochistan health department on corruption charges.
In a statement, the accountability watchdog said the arrested are former additional director MSD Balochistan health department and his two accomplices.
The detainees are accused of looting Rs400 million from national exchequer on the pretext of procurement of injections, the statement said, adding that though the payment was made in advance, the supply was just on papers.
National Accountability Bureau Chairman Javed Iqbal has zero-tolerance policy against corruption and the corrupt would be brought to book at all costs.
