September 8, 2020 04:12 PM

Federal Minister of State for Climate Change Zartaj Gul in an interview discussed marriage and put her weight behind love marriage when asked one has to choose between arrange or love marriage.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Zartaj Gul’s recent interview went viral on social media.

Apart from political talk, she talked about marital life and said one should opt for love marriage and not for an arranged marriage. She opined that in both cases (love or arranged marriage) there is complete destruction then it is better for a person to be destroyed by opting for love marriage.

Zartaj Gul said that no leader should be a hypocrite or a coward and she is proud that her leader is not a coward and a hypocrite. She said she liked Imran Khan's this habit a lot.

Zartaj Gul chose PPP as a better option than PML-N when she was asked to choose the better party from the two major political parties.

When asked to choose between Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Maryam Nawaz, she preferred Maryam Nawaz.

Zartaj Gul shared in the interview that she was not a regular viewer of Pakistani dramas.

Zartaj Gul said she liked boiled eggs as her favourite food and also liked Peshawari Chapli Kebabs and green tea very much. Zartaj Gul was married to PTI leader Humayun Raza in 2010.
