Model and actress Khushbakhat Mirza aka Sofia Mirza Thursday appeared before Lahore High Court (LHC) where the court asked for a response from the federal prosecutor regarding the expulsion of Sophia’s husband's name from the Exit Control List (ECL), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

A federal prosecutor and FIA inspector appeared and briefed the court on a case related to the recovery of the girls of model Sofia. LHC also instructed the Deputy Attorney General to inform about the SC case hearing of Sophia Mirza's daughters.

Justice Shujaat Ali Khan heard the application of Sofia Mirza in which she repeatedly interfered in the court hearing, on which the court expressed displeasure.

Sofia Mirza stated: “It is necessary to hear complainant concerns. I am a mother, no decision should be taken without hearing me. Umar Farooq Zahoor (her ex-husband) kidnapped my girls and took them abroad. It has been 12 years now and I am seeking justice since then. The court should give instructions to bring my daughters back”.

“Umar Farooq should also be summoned here” she pleaded. The federal prosecutor asked for time to prepare arguments in the case.
