Adnan Siddiqui pens heartfelt note for ‘Anwar mamu’ on his birthday
Adnan Siddiqui shared a photo with the industry legend Anwar Maqsood along with a cozy note wishing the latter on his birthday.
Taking to his Instagram stories, Siddiqui, sharing a selfie with Anwar Maqsood, wished him and prayed for a prosperous and peaceful life.
Adnan referred to Maqsood as ‘Mamu’ but they are not related at all. Anwar Maqsood is Adnan’s mentor and also the one who discovered him playing a pivotal role in launching him as an actor.
Siddiqui calls him ‘Mamu’ out of love and respect. He was casted in Maqsood’s first PTV play Khwabon Ki Zanjeer.
The Maat actor often shares glimpses of moments with the legend, Maqsood with his fans.
Earlier, in March, he shared a photo of himself playing the harmonium with Anwar Maqsood at someone’s wedding that he does not remember.
Back in 2019, he wrote a very heartfelt note for Anwar, sharing the story of the beginning of his career and Maqsood’s role in it.
