Asia Cup 2025: Afghanistan to face Hong Kong in opening match tomorrow

The T20 Asia Cup 2025 is set to kick off tomorrow in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), with eight Asian teams in action, including a high-stakes match between arch-rivals Pakistan and India.

The opening match between Afghanistan and Hong Kong will be held in Abu Dhabi tomorrow(Tuesday).  

The tournament will run from September 9 to 28, and all the matches will be hosted by the Dubai and Abu Dhabi cricket stadiums.

Nineteen matches will be played in total, including the final.

India will defend their title as they have won the final of the 2023 season, beating Sri Lanka in the finals by 10 wickets.

Pakistan will play their opening match against Oman on Friday in Dubai.
