Indian drone captured by civilians in Zafarwal

Local residents in Zafarwal border area captured an Indian drone and handed it over to the authorities, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

According to details, the residents in the border village of Jangu Chak successfully captured an Indian surveillance drone that entered Pakistani airspace.

The drone was intended for espionage and was intact.

Earlier on September 7, 2025, three anti-tank mines and one landmine were found and defused from the Dek rainwater drain in Narowal. 

According to details, the Narowal district administration control room received a phone call that explosives were found in the rainwater drain.

Local police and security forces immediately reached the Dek drain near the village of Lahri in Zafarwal tehsil and cordoned off the area.

Civil Defence Bomb Disposal Squad was then called to defuse the explosives. As per details, the explosives were ‘Indian-made’.
