Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Tuesday inaugurated modern Command, Control, Communication and Coordination Center of Islamabad Police, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

With the new Command and Control Center in operation, the IG Islamabad will be able to directly monitor and command the Safe City, police operations and the law-and-order situation in the federal capital from his office.

Talking on the occasion, Mohsin Naqvi said the modern center will significantly improve the command, monitoring, coordination and quick decision-making system of the Islamabad Police. 

Mohsin Naqvi said all important operational systems of the police, including Safe City, will be connected to a central command and control platform.

In any emergency or security situation arises, the IG Islamabad will be able to directly monitor the situation and issue immediate orders, Mohsin Naqvi said.

The minister said the performance of the police, response time and monitoring of the field force will be more effective with modern AI and technology-based systems.

The Interior Minister also inspected various sections of the center and reviewed the modern monitoring and command system.

Mohsin Naqvi was briefed about the Safe City integrated system, police operations, field force monitoring, emergency response and modern AI-based technology.

The main objective of the new center is to provide the IG Islamabad with effective command and monitoring of the entire Islamabad Police from a single location, Mohsin Naqvi said.

He said this modern system will further improve communication and coordination between different police units. 

In any incident or emergency, timely information, immediate decision-making and rapid police response will be possible, Mohsin Naqvi said.

He said the command, monitoring and accountability system of the police will be further strengthened through modern technology. 

This center will also enable effective monitoring of the performance of the police in the field, Mohsin Naqvi said.

He said protection of citizens, improvement in police performance and establishment of law-and-order in Islamabad are our top priorities. 

IG Islamabad Police and other relevant officers were also present on the occasion.
