Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Sunday made a phone call to IG Dr. Usman Anwar and inquired about his well-being, reported the 24newsHD TV channel. 

Punjab IG Police Dr. Usman Anwar has a narrow escape today when his vehicle came under attack by the dacoits in the Kacha area of Rahim Yar Khan. Dr. Usman Anwar himself is conducting the operation against bandits in the Kacha area. 

A constable of the IG escort received bullet injuries during the attack and he was shifted to a nearby hospital. Dr. Usman Anwar replied that he is fine with the blessings of Allah. 

Mohsin Naqvi also asked the IG about the health of the injured constable. 

Mohsin Naqvi was told that police morale is high and the operation is continuing with success. 

Punjab IG Police vowed that elements above the law will be eliminated at all costs. 

Mohsin Naqvi directed the authorities to provide the best treatment facilities to the injured police personnel. 

“The injured police personnel under your command set an example of duty and professionalism, adds Mohsen Naqvi. 

Chief Minister said the police officers and personnel who are participating in the operation are our heroes.
