Global oil prices plunge further as Brent, WTI slip 3pc

Crude oil prices continued their downward slide in the international market, with both Brent and WTI benchmarks witnessing notable drops, according to media reports.

Brent crude oil prices declined by 3 percent and are now trading at $60.96 per barrel in the global market. Similarly, U.S. benchmark West Texas Intermediate (WTI) saw a sharper fall of 3.3 percent, settling at $57.59 per barrel.

The dip in prices reflects ongoing concerns about global demand, supply adjustments, and geopolitical developments impacting the energy markets worldwide.
