Fazl in Karachi to convince clerics against Domestic Violence Bill 

Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) supremo Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman has paced up his efforts to gather important religious scholars at one platform against the Domestic Violence Bill, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Maulana Fazl met with Maulana Salman Binoria of Jamia Binoria Al-Aalmia (Binoria University International). He also met with the Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan (JUP).

The sources say both personalities have confirmed their participation in opposition of the Domestic Violence Bill.

Maulana Fazl said that the Domestic Violence Bill would create problems in society. 

He said: “Both bills are under consideration in the parliament. Domestic Violence Bill and Waqf property are against the constitution and law and the Qur'an and Sunnah. They are in favour of ending domestic violence but the current law will destroy family life.”
