Shehbaz Sharif, Asif Zardari condemn suicide blast on Pakistani troops
Four Pakistan Army soldiers were martyred when a suicide bomber blew himself up near army’s convoy in North Waziristan District’s Mir Ali area, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), those who embraced martyrdom were identified as Lance Naik Sajjad, Lance Naik Shah Zeb, sepoy Umair and sepoy Khurram, who belonged to district Ghazar, Mansehra, Kohat and Narowal, respectively.
The director general ISPR has said that the Pakistan Army is determined to stamp out the scourge of terrorism, and that probe has been launched to identify the suicide bomber as well as his facilitators.
He expressed the hope that the sacrifices being given by the Pakistan Army personnel will not go in vain.
A dew days back, a soldier was martyred and a suspected terrorist was killed during an intelligence-based operation in Miramshah area of North Waziristan district.
According to ISPR, during an intense exchange of fire, Sepoy Ansar Ali, 30, a resident of Narowal, had embraced martyrdom while fighting gallantly.
PM Shehbaz Sharif condemns suicide blast
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has condemned the suicide attack on Pakistan Army soldiers in North Waziristan District.
In a tweet uploaded on Tuesday, Shehbaz Sharif said “The whole nation including me is saddened and saddened by the martyrdom of 4 soldiers in a suicide attack in Mir Ali, North Waziristan.”
The prime minister further said “We pray to Allah Almighty to accept the sacrifices of these martyrs for the defence and peace of the country and grant patience to their survivors. The martyrs are the crown of our heads.”

Former president and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari Tuesday condemned the suicide attack on army soldiers in North Waziristan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Asif Ali Zardari expressed grief over the martyrdom of the army soldiers, stating that the terrorists who attacked army men were unforgivable.
“The enemy should be completely wiped out under the National Action Plan (NAP). The murderers of the brave sons of soil will be brought to their end,” he vowed.
The former president also expressed sympathy and condolences to the families of the martyrs.
