Aimal Wali expresses concerns over law and order in Balochistan, KP
Awami National Party hosted All Parties National Girga in Quetta, which was attended by various political parties. At the end of the Girga, ANP Chief Aimal Wali shared the key points that were agreed upon by the participants.
Aimal Wali said that the All Parties National Girga expressed grave concern over law and order in the Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces. He demanded transparent elections after declaring the 2024 elections a conspiracy against democracy.
He said that all the terrorism, extremism and evil are the result of the 78 years of wrong foreign and domestic policies of the state and the country. He recounted the human and financial losses due to the military operations in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
ANP chief also demanded a truth commission regarding international institutions and human rights violations and also to stop all the military operations. It has become a routine for terrorists to burn cargo vehicles, large transports and kidnap passengers for ransom on the streets.
Aimal Wali also asked to ensure the safety of people's life and safety. The All-Party Conference termed 8th February 2024 election as a conspiracy against democracy.
ANP chief said the incumbent government and assemblies do not represent the real vote of the people. The All Parties Conference rejects the Mines and Minerals Act 2025 from the Provincial Assembly. He said all the political and democratic parties will unite at the public and judicial levels to fight against the Mines and Minerals Act 2025.
Aimal Wali said that the 18th constitutional amendment should be implemented according to the true spirit of the constitution. He also opposed the merging of the levies force with the police in the province.
He said that the government should take back its decision to merge the levies force with the police. The high court has already declared the traditional lands of the Balochistan people and the Pashtun people living in Balochistan as tribal land and asked to put an immediate end and also cancel the already fake allotments and fake deaths in all the areas of the province.
He said the arrests of political workers in the country, their disappearances are a serious violation of the constitution and also demand the immediate release of all political activists. Aimal said that the imprisonment under black laws like 3 MPO (Maintenance of Public Order) and 4th Schedule against political workers should be ended and the political activities should be immediately restored. The independent media is an important pillar for any state in the country, but the enforcement of black laws in the country, like the PECA Act, against the independent media and the freedom of the press and social media is clearly against the constitution and law. The PECA Act should be taken back immediately.
