PM&DC rejects romours of 80% hike in MDCAT exams fee

Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC) has dismissed rumours of an 80 percent hike in the fee for MDCAT 2025 exams, clarifying that only Rs1,000 (12.5) percent has been increased and taking the total fee to Rs9,000, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
According to the spokesperson, this minor increase in the fee has been made for the practical expenses of the exam, security and logistics.
Registration for MDCAT will continue from August 8 to August 25, while late fee will be possible till September 1, 2025.
The exam will be in paper form in English and will consist of 180 MCQ questions and there will be no negative marking.
