Lahore Police close case of stolen apples and hand wash from judge’s chamber

Lahore investigation police have closed the case concerning the alleged theft of two apples and a hand wash from the chamber of an Additional Sessions Judge in the Sessions Court, 24NewsHD TV reported on Tuesday.

The case, initially registered at Islampura Police Station, was found to be unsubstantiated during the investigation.

According to the FIR, the incident occurred on December 5 in the chamber of Additional Sessions Judge Noor Muhammad Bismal, with the stolen items valued at approximately Rs1,000.

Police officials stated the case caused only minor loss and no actual crime had occurred.

As a result, the investigation report was finalized, and the case was closed under Section 95 of the Criminal Procedure Code.

Authorities emphasized that the decision was based on the findings of a thorough investigation, which determined that no criminal liability existed in the matter.

The FIR was filed at Islampura Police Station on the complaint of the judge’s reader.

The police claimed that the request for registration of the case had been received from the Operations Wing, following which the FIR was lodged.
