Fazl alleges global conspiracy against seminaries, reiterates parliament illegitimate

Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has alleged that a global conspiracy including the United States is being hatched to eliminate Islamic seminaries in Pakistan.

Addressing a gathering in Takht Bhai, Mardan on Sunday, he reiterated his rejection of the February 8 elections, claiming that the "dark shadow of rigging" still looms over the country.

He termed the current parliament as illegitimate, claiming it was formed through large-scale rigging in the February 8 elections. 

 Fazal reiterated that the true parliament belongs to the people, not to what he described as "fraudulent institutions."

Expressing solidarity with Palestinians, he hailed their resilience despite more than 50,000 martyrs in Gaza. 

JUI head also issued a stern warning, declaring that as long as he has the strength, no force can impose Qadianism in Pakistan.

“We have not abandoned our mission and will continue our resistance. The people are my parliament, and we will enter the assemblies while staying in the field,” he declared.

Expressing concern over delays in implementing the Religious Schools Act in various provinces, Fazlur Rehman stressed that his party believes in solving issues through dialogue rather than confrontation.

 Reacting to former US President Donald Trump's remarks on Gaza, the JUI-F leader called him the "biggest lunatic in the world," asserting that the global community has rejected his stance.

Fazlur Rehman further warned of an alleged scheme to freeze bank accounts under the pretext of registration, calling it a deliberate move to undermine religious institutions. He also   asserted that his party remained steadfast in its struggle, which he termed "political jihad."

The JUI-F chief vowed to resist any attempts to suppress his movement, cautioning that public outrage could shake the foundations of "fake institutions."
