Frustrated by students' pranks, teacher reaches police station for help in Peshawar

A teacher at a government higher secondary school in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has complained about students at Yakatoot police station in Peshawar, citing persistent harassment that has hindered his ability to perform his duties effectively.

According to sources, the teacher alleged that students frequently catcall him and use inappropriate language, creating a hostile work environment. 

Frustrated by the ongoing misconduct, he formally requested the education department to transfer him to another school.

The police, while acknowledging the complaint, stated that they could counsel the students but were unable to take strict action against them. 

In an attempt to resolve the matter, law enforcement authorities have reportedly summoned the parents of the accused students.

The incident has sparked concern within the education sector, prompting the District Education Officer of Peshawar to take notice of the situation.
