13th National Assembly Election and Referendum will be held simultaneously in 299 parliamentary constituencies across Bangladesh on Thursday

Bangladesh's national election campaign ends tomorrow

Bangladesh the election campaign of the candidates contesting the 13th National Assembly Election and Referendum to be held on February 12 will end on Tuesday. The election campaign, which began on January 22, will end 48 hours before the voting on February 12. The 13th National Assembly Election and Referendum will be held on Thursday, February 12. The 13th National Assembly Election and Referendum will be held simultaneously in 299 parliamentary constituencies across Bangladesh from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm on Thursday through ballot papers in transparent ballot boxes.

A total of 51 political parties are participating in the 13th National Assembly Election. A total of 2,034 candidates are in the election. Of these, 275 are independent candidates. BNP has fielded the most candidates among the political parties in Bangladesh. 291 candidates are contesting the election with the party's symbol of a grain of rice.

 Besides, the second highest number of 258 candidates of Islami Andolan Bangladesh is contesting with the hand fan symbol. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's 229 candidates are contesting with the scale symbol. Besides, 198 candidates are contesting with the plough symbol of Jatiya Party. On the other hand, 32 candidates of Jatiya Nagorik Party (NCP) are contesting with the leaf-koli symbol. Among the independent candidates, 76 are contesting with the football symbol.
