Hania Aamir serves ‘illuminaTEA,’ not Illuminati, in cheeky clapback to Mishi
Hania Aamir has set the record straight as she’s spilled “illuminaTEA,” not joining the Illuminati.
The actress has been responding to Mishi Khan’s question about her hand gestures, sparking a viral debate over “Illuminati signs.”
The controversy began when Mishi Khan highlighted Hania’s frequent hand pose – thumb, index, and pinky fingers extended, claiming it resembled a secret society signal.
However, Hania laughed it off. On Instagram Stories, she shared a screenshot showing that the clip had been forwarded to her by her own mother, writing: "Meri ami ne yeh mujhe bheja hai" (My mom sent me this).
She jokingly asked: "Meri ami aur Mishi Khan ko kaun bataega?" (Who will tell my mom and Mishi Khan?).
In a follow-up video, Hania kept the tone lighthearted, pleading with fans: "Mery pehly bohot masly hain, mat add karo aur" (“I already have enough issues, don’t add more”).
She also poked fun at other viral rumours about her dimples and cosmetic surgery, highlighting the absurdity of online conspiracies.
While some users tried reading symbolic meanings into her pose, most fans, and Hania herself, dismissed it as a casual “rock on” sign or a signature photoshoot pose.
Celebrities and supporters flocked to her side, while many teased Mishi Khan for trying to ride Hania’s wave of popularity.
Hania Aamir remains Pakistan’s most-followed Instagram celebrity with over 19 million followers, and her drama Meri Zindagi Hai Tu recently crossed 1.35 billion views on YouTube, proving her enduring charm both on-screen and online.
