Infant abducted from Faisalabad Children’s Hospital

A two-month-old baby girl was abducted from the Children’s Hospital, Faisalabad, 24NewsHD TV reported on Monday. 

According to the hospital's management, the infant, identified as Zunisha, a resident of Gojra, was admitted to the hospital’s medicine ward for treatment on Saturday night.

 The baby was brought to the facility by her parents for medical care and was under treatment at the time of the incident.

Medical Superintendent Dr Aamir Naveed said that an unidentified woman allegedly deceived the infant’s mother and managed to take the baby away from the ward before disappearing.

Following the incident, the hospital administration immediately informed the police.

Senior police officials, including the SSP and SP, reached the hospital to oversee the investigation and assess the situation.

Dr Naveed said that authorities are actively reviewing CCTV footage from the hospital premises to trace the suspect and recover the abducted child as soon as possible.
