‘Humans need Humans’: Showbiz stars in deep sorrow over sudden demise of Humaira Asghar Ali
Prominent Pakistani stars Mawra Hocane, Amar Khan, and Hina Altaf have expressed sorrow over Humaira Asghar Ali’s shocking demise, and also urged support for people silently struggling with mental health.
The body of actor and model Humaira Asghar Ali was discovered in an apartment in Karachi’s Defence Housing Authority on Tuesday, police have confirmed.
According to South DIG Syed Asad Raza, Ali’s remains were found in a flat located in Ittehad Commercial, Phase VI. Gizri police, in a statement, identified the deceased as the 32-year-old actor and stated that she had likely passed away approximately two weeks before her body was recovered.
DIG Raza explained that police were acting on a local court’s order to vacate the apartment. Officers arrived at the scene around 3:15 p.m., and when repeated knocks went unanswered, they forced entry by breaking the lock—at which point the body was discovered. The Crime Scene Unit was called in to collect forensic evidence.
Taking to her Instagram handle, actress Mawra Hocane mourned the death of Humaira Asghar and offered kindness and non-judgmental ears to people suffering from depression and anxiety in the acting fraternity.
“If you're in trouble or caught in spiralling thoughts, if I have known you briefly or extensively, if you're a friend or an acquaintance, if you're from my fraternity and you feel I will understand your pressures, please reach out!!!!!
I will understand, I will not judge I promise... I will be kind & I will do everything I can in my capacity to help... everyday there's bad news.... let's be a community again... humans need humans, luckily, I have a few golden ones in my life, inside & outside of fraternity but the pressure is real especially if you're in your impressionable years.... I'm not an expert but I'm a good listener... if you're reading this and going through something... I am sorry but most importantly, I'll try to be there InshaAllah

Actress Amar Khan also shared sorrow over the same also motivated other artists suffering from depression due to work pressures to prioritize mental health.
“This more than shocking is depressing. Its the death of a society and an industry.
I still remember her "khush rahein khush rehne dein" from a show. While nagivating through the harsh brutalities of life,making a career and succumbing to pressure. Humaira is a face and story of so many artists, who while serving happy face and glamour in those arc lights, switches off just like that one day. Its a day of introspection of temporary worldly goals one sets for this life. A place where you are under constant scrutiny and judged for your clothes,cars,career and cash. To all the girls out there starting off and striving hard. Another actress Hina Altaf prayed for high ranks of the actress in Jannah, stating: “May Allah forgive her shortcomings, grant her peace, and bless her with the highest rank in Jannah.”
