Sindh govt suspends four Agri Department officers

In a notable administrative action, four officials belonging to the Department of Agriculture, Prices and Supply, have been suspended by the Sindh government, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

The suspension was confirmed through an official notification issued by Services, General Administration, and Coordination Department with the approval of Chief Secretary Syed Asif Haider Shah.

The suspended officers include Deputy Director Shah Hussain Shah, Deputy Director Parvez Ahmed Sheikh, Deputy Director Abdul Majeed Wastoro, and Senior Scientist Muhammad Zubair.

All four suspended officers, as per the notification, are directed to report to the Department of Agriculture, Prices, and Supply.

The notification also clarifies that the suspended officers during the suspension period, in accordance with the existing service rules, will continue to receive their salaries and allowances.
