Pakistani YouTuber Ducky Bhai, Saad Ur Rehman has responded to the online criticism surrounding his interaction with former Pakistani fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar after a video from a latest event sparked widespread discussion on social media.
The controversy began when a clip from the event went viral, with many social media users claiming that Ducky Bhai deliberately ignored Shoaib Akhtar. The video quickly fueled speculation, leading many to believe there was tension between the two personalities.
Addressing the claims through his Instagram Story, Ducky Bhai dismissed the speculation and clarified that the viral narrative was completely misleading.
He explained that he had already met Shoaib Akhtar privately before the event began. According to him, they greeted each other warmly and had a proper conversation in a private room before Shoaib Akhtar was called to the stage.
Ducky Bhai expressed surprise that such a minor incident had become a topic of discussion online. He said he had seen many unnecessary stories on social media, but described this as one of the most pointless claims he had come across.
He questioned why people expected them to meet again in front of cameras when they had already greeted each other privately.
Explaining his point further, Ducky Bhai said there was no reason to repeat the same interaction just because cameras were present. He added that both of them had already met off-camera, making another public greeting unnecessary.
He also clarified that there was no personal or professional connection between them that required repeated public interactions. Ducky Bhai noted that he is a digital content creator, while Shoaib Akhtar belongs to the world of cricket, adding that they follow different career paths and are not closely associated with one another.
Concluding his statement, Ducky Bhai urged people to avoid spreading baseless assumptions and asked everyone to fear God before sharing or believing misleading stories on social media.
