Wajahat Rauf reveals why he's proud of son Aashir Wajahat
Pakistani director and producer Wajahat Rauf has expressed pride in his son Aashir Wajahat for making a name for himself in the entertainment industry.
During an interview with host Umair Alavi, Wajahat Rauf said he is happy that the day has finally come when people recognize him as the father of a well-known actor.
Smiling, he remarked that he is proud of his son's achievements and enjoys the recognition that comes with Aashir's growing popularity.
The conversation also touched on what Wajahat humorously called "reverse nepotism."
Wajahat explains that instead of a son being known because of his famous father, he is now being identified through his son's success.
Umair Alavi agreed that it was something to be proud of and Wajahat responded that he couldn't be happier.
Wajahat Rauf is a Pakistani film and television director, producer and screenwriter known for directing and producing successful films such as Karachi Se Lahore, Lahore Se Aagey, Chhalawa and Parde Mein Rehne Do.
He is also the father of actor and singer Aashir Wajahat, who has gained popularity through drama serial Kafeel.
