I don’t think I will fit into this system, says Ali Zafar on joining politics

The painter-actor-model turned singer-songwriter Ali Zafar is an all-rounder, entertaining young and old, across the world since 2003.

Ever since his first single ‘Chhanno’ which sold half a million copies in just the first week – he has toured across the world, starred in some Bollywood films, bagged awards for everything he’s contributed to – with no real plans of slowing down yet.

Taking to his twitter account, Ali Zafar asked his fans to type away their questions under the hashtag #AskAZ and in no time, the hashtag made a top trend in Pakistan and people had all sorts of things to ask:

Answering a question will you ever join politics, Zafar replied: “I don’t think, I will fit into this system.”

When asked by a fan if not a singer, what would you be, to which Zafar replied: “I would have been a cricketer or professor, if not a singer or actor.”

Answering a question, what is your best memory of Goa, do you think India and Pakistan can ever be united like European Union? Ali said: “There was a time when England and Germany, France and Germany were sworn enemies. Look at them today. However, they lost millions in the process. Same will be the case with India and Pakistan one day. However, it’s on us as to how much damage do we want upon us until that day.”
