Ushna Shah eats her words after criticising ever-green Hadiqa Kiani
Popular television actress Ushna Shah is once again in hot water for a post on twitter.
In a now-deleted tweet, Ushna Shah pondered why every female singer in Pakistan (except Aima Baig and Quratulain Baloch) is mediocre.
She also went on to comment on Sahir Ali Bagga's Instagram post sharing his track with Hadiqa Kiani, saying, “Putting this on record, should've taken Aiman Khan for the vocals,” adding the current track “ruined my visuals.”
However, when Hadiqa Kiani found out about it, she responded in the best way possible.
Sharing a post where Ushna implies Kiani is mediocre, the 'Kamli' singer decided to make a list of local female singers and the popular songs they crooned which are adored.
Hadiqa uploaded a list of female singers which includes a number of Pakistan music industry staples, from Abida Parveen, Madam Noor Jehan, Farida Khanum, Nazia Hassan and Sanam Marvi to Meesha Shafi, Zoe and Rachel Viccaji, Natasha Baig and Mai Dhai etc.

Taking to twitter, Ushna apologized and wrote: “Sorry Hadiqa, Please keep my twitter away from me when I’m delirious and opinionated late night. Please cure me of the disease in me. I loved my OST, has been playing it on repeat. She just didn’t sound like her usual self and as a fan I got genuinely annoyed. Please remind me in such moments that I shouldn’t react the way a normal fan does. Please lock me out of twitter late night. Ameen.”
