A three-member medical board has been constituted headed by Police Surgeon Dr Samiya Saeed and two male doctors who is carrying out the post-mortem of Dr Aamir Liaquat.  

The team is performing the post mortem at Jinnah Hospital Karachi and will submit the medical legal report.

The post-mortem process has been started and it will come up with the cause of the death.

As per unverified reports, Dr Aamir Liaquat died on suffocation as smoke coming out of a generator filled his bedroom at his residence.

Dr Aamir Liaquat’s wife Bushra along with her daughter reached the Jinnah Hospital. 

Ramzan Chhipa of Chhipa Welfare Foundation arranged the shifting of the dead body to the hospital for port mortem.
