Katie Price becomes first star to trademark AI version
Katie Price has made British showbiz history by becoming the first UK celebrity to trademark her own artificial intelligence image—resurrecting her famous 1990s alter ego, Jordan.
The 47-year-old model and media personality has signed a six-figure deal with US-based AI firm OhChat, which will use advanced technology to create a lifelike, interactive 3D version of her former self. The digital avatar will feature Katie’s voice, movements, and personality, making Jordan fully virtual—and fully back.
As part of the deal, Katie recorded 30 personal phrases, such as “I like going horse riding” and “this week for dinner I’ve got beef burgers,” to help shape the AI model's voice and character.
“The Jordan days were the best days of my life,” Katie told The Sun. “This AI move is so clever. It’s a genius move. It’s also a way for me to feel like her again. Jordan’s back—and now I’m in competition with Jordan!”
Katie, who first shot to fame as glamour model Jordan in 1996 after appearing on Page 3, has long been known for reinventing her image. Over the years, she has undergone multiple cosmetic surgeries and launched numerous business ventures. But this new AI chapter, she says, is something entirely different.
“I love it. They’ve really captured my voice and personality—you see me moving and everything. It’s scarily weird but fascinating,” she added.
Katie has been teasing the launch of her digital twin on social media with a countdown leading up to today’s reveal. She said the project is deeply personal and nostalgic: “I couldn’t be more excited to bring back the iconic Jordan, someone I hold near and dear to my heart, and who my fans have been asking to see again.”
She emphasized her hands-on involvement in crafting the AI, from styling to tone of voice, to ensure the most authentic experience possible for fans.
A source close to the project called it a “game-changing” business decision. “By using AI, she can effectively go back in time and bring back Jordan. It’s incredibly canny. Carmen Electra has done it in the States and stands to make millions.”
Plans are underway for a photo shoot featuring Katie alongside her virtual self, and discussions are in progress for a TV special where she would interview the AI version of her younger persona.
“It’s all really exciting,” the source said, “if a bit surreal.”
