Man rapes woman receiving ‘sacrificial meat’ at her home

A man who went to a house in Rawalpindi on the pretext of delivering sacrificial meat raped the woman who came to collect it, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

In the FIR registered at Morgah police station of the city, the woman said that she had purchased a house from Chaudhry Tariq, the suspect, for Rs20 million. “The suspect transferred the ownership of the house to me after the payment of Rs10.70 million. I paid the remaining three million as well. But the man kept delaying the registration,” read the FIR.

She further stated that once Tariq received the whole amount, he tried to occupy the house. “But his attempt was foiled after a court granted a stay in the case. Yesterday at 3:30 in the afternoon, he came to my home to deliver meat. On finding me alone, he subjected me to rape. It was after I dialed 15 that the police reached my house,” said the victim.
