Budget proposes Rs100m for renovation of Quaid-e-Azam Antiquities House in Karachi
The federal budget for fiscal year 2026-27 has proposed allocating Rs100 million for the renovation of the Quaid-e-Azam Antiquities House in Karachi, according to budget documents.
The documents show that funding for the project has been proposed under the National Heritage and Culture Division as part of efforts to preserve sites of historical and national importance.
According to the budget proposal, the total cost of the renovation project has been estimated at Rs295 million.
The allocation is intended to support restoration and conservation work at the historic building associated with the founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
The proposal will be subject to approval as part of the federal budget process for the upcoming fiscal year.
