CM Naqvi chairs meeting on ‘Free Ata Package’

Punjab Chief Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi on Thursday ordered the provision of bags of flour to deserving people free of cost ahead of the holy month of Ramadan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
He was presiding over a meeting held in Lahore to review the ‘Free Ata Package’.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief minister expressed the hope that the package introduced by the provincial government would provide much-needed relief to the poor and downtrodden.
He announced increasing trucking points for the purpose.
CM Naqvi directed the Punjab Information Technology Board to devise such a procedure that people could get flour without much hassle.
He also directed the Board to keep the backup system ready. “We have to provide relief to people in such a way that they don’t have to make lines,” he said.
Chief Secretary, Planning and Development Board chairman, secretary food, secretary finance, Punjab Information Technology Board chairman, DG Industries and other concerned officials attended the meeting.
