Relief for Karachites; buses to tun till 1am in Ramadan

Karachi residents received great news as the Sindh government announced an extension in the operational hours of the People’s Bus Service. 

Starting from the 15th of Ramadan, buses will continue running until 1 AM, ensuring greater travel convenience for the city’s citizens, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

Sindh Information and Transport Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon reiterated his commitment to providing the best transport facilities to the public. 

He stated that the timing extension will apply to routes R1, R2, R3, R4, R9, R10, and EV1.

“We understand the challenges faced by Karachi’s citizens during Ramadan. Many people rely on public transport, and this extension aims to offer them a better commuting experience,” Memon said. 

He emphasized that the decision was made to facilitate safe and hassle-free travel for shoppers returning home late at night.

Memon further assured that the Sindh government remains dedicated to the welfare of Karachi’s people and urged citizens to take full advantage of the extended bus service.
