Revealed: Rs2m demanded for Hania Aamir’s appearance on Adnan Faisal Podcast
Podcast host Adnan Faisal has revealed that Rs2 million was demanded for actress Hania Aamir’s appearance on his show.
Faisal made this startling revelation during Mathira’s show. Explaining his stance, Faisal stated that his platform has never paid celebrities for appearances, and they maintained this tradition in Hania Aamir’s case as well.
“All stars are stars,” he said, emphasizing that offering payment to one could set an unfair precedent for others.
In reply to a question, Adnan Faisal suggested a much-needed reinvention to correct the country’s drama industry.
He advocated for eliminating themes such as extramarital affairs and the stereotypical conflicts between mothers-in-law and daughters-in-law from television dramas.
“The industry needs a fresh perspective,” he insisted, highlighting the importance of moving away from outdated tropes.
Faisal urged local creative writers and content creators to take inspiration from global platforms like Netflix to enhance storytelling and production quality.
He stressed that the younger generation absorbs what they watch, making it crucial to introduce meaningful changes in the industry.
“We must bring about positive transformations in our storytelling if we want to shape a better future for our audience,” Faisal said.
