33 flights cancelled at Karachi, Lahore airports
10 flights also called off at Multan airport: Flight operation remains suspended at Faisalabad airport
As many as 33 flights, heading from Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport and Lahore's Allama Iqbal International Airports to different destinations in the world, were cancelled on Monday due to the ongoing situation in the Gulf, arising out of a war between US-Israel and Iran, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Emirates’ Karachi to Dubai flight, EK-601, Air China’s Karachi to Beijing flight, CA-946, Batik Air’s Karachi to Kuala Lumpur flight, OD-136, Gulf Air’s Bahrain-bound flight, GF-753, Saudia Airlines flight from Karachi to Riyadh, SV-709 were all cancelled.
Similarly, Qatar Airways Doha-bound flight, QR-611, Airblue’s Dubai-bound flight PA-110, Flydubai’s Dubai-bound flight FZ-336, Oman Air’s Karachi to Muscat flight, WY-324, Thai Airway’s flight from Karachi to Bangkok, TG-342 and Etihad Airway’s Karachi to Abu Dhabi flight EY-293 were cancelled as well.
Some of the domestic flights were also cancelled.
AirSial’s Karachi to Lahore flight, PF-143, Airblue’s Karachi to Islamabad flights, PA-200 and PA-208, the same airline’s Karachi to Lahore flights, PA-402 and PA-406, PIA’s Islamabad-bound flight, PK-308, PIA’s Lahore-bound flight, PK-306, Fly Jinnah’s Lahore-bound flight, 9P-846, and PIA’s flight from Karachi to Sukkur, PK-536 were also cancelled.
22 flights cancelled at Lahore airport
As many as 22 flights, heading from Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport to different destinations in the Gulf and vice versa, were cancelled on the 10th consecutive day on Monday.
Airblue’s Lahore to Dubai flight, PA-410, Qatar Airways Doha to Lahore flight, QR-620, the same airline’s Lahore to Doha flight, QR-621, the airline’s flight from Lahore to Doha, QR-629, Jazeera Air’s flight from Kuwait to Lahore, J9-501, the same airline’s Kuwait-bound flight, J9-502, and Kuwait Airway’s Kuwait-bound flight, KU-202, were cancelled.
Similarly, Etihad Air’s Abu Dhabi to Lahore flight, EY-284, the airline’s Lahore to Abu Dhabi flight, EY-285, Emirates flight from Dubai to Lahore, EK-624, the airline’s Dubai-bound flight, EK-625, Gulf Air’s Bahrain to Lahore flight, GF-764, and the airline’s Bahrain-bound flight GF-765 were cancelled as well.
10 flights cancelled at Multan airport
Flight operation from Multan and Faisalabad airports to different cities in the Gulf remain suspended on Monday as well.
As many as 10 flights were cancelled at Multan airport.
All flights heading to Dubai, Doha and Sharjah were cancelled.
Qatar Airways’ QR-616, PA-811, FZ-339, EK-2116, and PA-813 were cancelled.
Similarly, PIA’s Sharjah-bound flight PK-812, FZ-340, and EK-2117 were cancelled as well.
Sources at the airport told the 24News TV channel that the flight operation to Medina, Jeddah and Karachi was underway as per routine.
Flight operation at Faisalabad airport remains suspended
Meanwhile, the flight operation at Faisalabad airport remained suspended on the 10th consecutive day as well.
Flights, heading to different cities in the UAE could not be rescheduled.
Two-way flights to Dubai, FZ-391/392, and two-way flights to Sharjah G9-562/563 were also cancelled.
