Internationally acclaimed Pakistani folk singer Arif Lohar's wife passed away in Lahore on Sunday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

She was undergoing treatment first at CMH Hospital, Lahore, who was admitted to the hospital a few days ago due to fever. Later, she was shifted from CMH Hospital to Farooq Hospital and was on a ventilator but did not recover from the deteriorating symptoms.

The funeral prayers were offered at 10am on Sunday (today). 

Family sources say Arif Lohar's wife's condition deteriorated on Saturday. Earlier, family sources claimed she had no symptoms of coronavirus.
