The Islamabad High Court on Tuesday reserved its verdict on the maintainability of the petition filed by former premier and PTI Chairman Imran Khan seeking court order to bar authorities from taking action against him in 121 cases in which he has been booked, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

IHC judge Justice Aamer Farooq heard the petition.

During hearing, Imran’s lawyer told the court that as per the record, as many as 127 FIRs have been registered against his client.

Justice Farooq inquired of the lawyer, “Have these 127 cases been registered across the country? Have you submitted the record of all these 127 FIRs in the Lahore High Court, too? It will give an impression that the Islamabad or Lahore High Court is doing nothing. You should restrict yourself to Islamabad cases only. You should discuss cases registered in Lahore in the LHC. Otherwise, it will be a duplication.”

Saying that, the judge reserved the verdict on the maintainability of the petition.
