Special medical board on standby to examine Imran Khan

The federal government has constituted a seven-member special medical board which will remain standby for the medical examination of PTI Chairman Imran Khan, who was arrested from Islamabad on Tuesday, reported 23NewsHD TV channel.

The standby special medical board is consisted of senior medical doctors of Polyclinic Postgraduate Medical Institute.

The doctors are Dr Faridullah Shah, Dr Mamoon Qadir, Dr Muhammad Akhtar Khan, Dr Saima Shan, Dr Tassawar Mirza, Dr Imtiaz Ahmed and Dr Khadija Iftikhkar.

The members of the medical board will be on standby with immediate effect in order to examine the NAB detainees at Federal Government Polyclinic and NAB Headquarters in Islamabad.

A notification issued on Tuesday says the medical board shall also be responsible for any future medical consultation of Imran Khan in judicial custody.
