Masses stage rallies in various cities to support armed forces against Indian aggression
People from various walks of life took to the streets across the country to express solidarity with Pakistan Army against Indian aggression, raising slogans in favour of soldiers who are protecting borders on the front lines, reported 24New HDTV Channel.
After Jumma prayers, public rallies were arranged in Gujranwala, Rawalpindi, Murree, Attock, Kharian, Rawalakot, Takht Bhai, Mardan and Murree to condemn the aggression of Indian forces.
The rallies were organized by civil society, political and religious leaders and youth groups.
In Rawalakot, a public rally started from Kacheri Chowk. The participants of the rally raised slogans in favor of Pakistan Army.
The protesters said India has started the war but Pakistan will finish it. They praised Pakistan Army’s bravery and said that India would be shaken by the strong response of forces. They vowed to stand by the Pakistan Army to defend the country’s borders.
Jamaat-e-Islam youth also organized a rally at Takht Bhai in Mardan called “Youm-e-Azm: Pakistan Zindabad”. Participants marched from Kacheri Chowk to Pakistan Chowk. The young people shouted slogans against the Indian government and Prime Minister Modi. The youth said, “they are ready to fight shoulder to shoulder with the Pakistan Army at every front”.
Another rally was held in support of Pakistan Army in Murree which started from GPO Chowk and ended at Chinar Chowk. The Station Commander, Brigadier Ahmed Nawaz, also joined the participants.
Addressing the gathering, Brigadier Ahmed Nawaz said, “You should not be afraid; the Pakistan Army is always alert to protect you.”
