PPP laid the foundation of Pakistan’s invincible defence: Sindh CM
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has said that Marka-e-Haq is proof of Pakistan’s bravery and invincibility as one year ago on the same Pakistan Armed Forces defeated Indian, which is seven times bigger than our country, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
Addressing a ceremony arranged on the eve of Marka-e-Haq anniversary at Seaview Karachi on Saturday, CM Murad Shah said that today Pakistan's defense is invincible, but behind it is the decades of sacrifices and vision of the PPP.
Murad Shah further said that Zulfikar Ali Bhutto laid a new foundation for Pakistan's defense by laying the foundation of the nuclear program after the fall of Dhaka.
Sindh Chief Minister said Shaheed Benazir Bhutto gave a new direction to the missile program and brought the country's defense in line with modern requirements.
Murad Shah said that acquisition of 'Hangor Class' submarines for the Pakistan Navy under the leadership of President Asif Ali Zardari will make maritime defense more stronger. He said that chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has always fought the cause of Pakistan's defense and sovereignty with courage at the global level.
CM Murad Shah said that the entire nation stands unedited with its forces as a lead wall. Sindh Chief Minister said that the professionalism of the Pakistan Army, Air Force and Navy and the sacrifices of the martyrs were a source of pride for the entire nation. CM Murad said a strong defense was not only built from borders but also from national unity, political stability and economic strength. Sindh Chief Minister said that the great public gathering of Sea View is proof that the people stand with their martyrs and forces.
