The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) claimed to have nailed a human trafficker and fake traveller, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Monday.

A man, Muhammad Shoaib, attempted to leave the country on fake documents when the authorities sprang into action and arrested him. On his disclosure, the alleged human trafficker, Majid, was also arrested from the airport.

The man claimed he paid Rs420,000 to the suspected trafficker for getting him through the visa process.

A case has been registered and investigations are underway.
