Train services from Balochistan to remain suspended till Nov 13
Train services from Balochistan to other provinces will remain suspended till November 13, 2025 due to security concerns, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
According to the Railway Control Centre, all major passenger trains departing from Quetta will remain non-operational till November 13 due to operational reasons.
The suspension affects both the Peshawar-bound Jaffar Express and the Karachi-bound Bolan Mail, two of the most important inter-provincial rail services connecting Balochistan with the rest of the country.
Railway sources further revealed that passenger train services will remain operational as per routine.
According to railway authorities, the decision was made to protect passengers and railway infrastructure following security alerts in the region. “Train services have been suspended purely due to security concerns,” a spokesperson from the Railway Control said, adding that normal operations will resume once clearance is received from relevant agencies.
